Brazil - Scanavachi Espresso

Caramel, Chocolate, Hazelnut 

This Scanavachi lot is grown at Fazenda Jaborandi, in Mogiana. The farm grows only the Mundo Novo variety, which was discovered in 1943 and has since become synonymous with the classic Brazilian cup profile.

Expect a sweet, and smooth espresso.

  • Roaster's Notes

    The Scanavachi are based in the city of Espirito Santo do Pinhal. They have been working in coffee since their family immigrated to Brazil from Italy in the early 1900s. They currently run two farms: Fazenda Jaborandi and Fazenda Irubi.

    Our UK Head of Coffee, Nuno, had the pleasure to visit the Scanavachi in 2022 where he experienced unrivalled hospitality. He’s been buying from the family since. We’re excited to realease this coffee on its own this season, showcasing its varietal and regional qualities.
