Daye Bensa break the norm, having become renowned for beautifully processed honey lots, which blend natural and washed characteristics in one.

  • Roaster's Notes

    Daye Bensa’s Gatta Farm is at the heart of Shantawene Village, in Sidama. It sits at an altitude of 2120 – 2210 m.a.s.l. amid a natural forest. The site is surrounded by hundred-year-old indigenous trees, waterfalls, and rivers. This is a honey processed lot that packs all the best characteristics Ethiopia is known for: light, fruit forward and complex coffees.

    Gatta Farm consists of a drying station, a lodge and a training facility, where they offer training in coffee processing. The first coffees were planted in 2013, with the drying station being established in 2017.
