This washed coffee is grown by over 200 smallholders, from 8 municipalities in the northeast of Cauca Department, each contributing between 13 and 650kg.  
We have been buying this lot every season, for over thirteen years!

Expect a classic, clean Colombian washed profile. 

Soph's Suggested Recipe (Head of Coffee - Retail - UK): 17g-40g, 35 seconds total. A very classic washed Colombia, this recipe yields high sweetness, with an acidity reminiscent of sour apple sweets and a white flower finish. If you're heading down the milk route, expect apple pie with a hint of almond- delicious!!!!

  • Roaster's Notes

    Allpress has been working in partnership with the co-operative Agricola de Café and coffee exporters Racafe & CIA S.C.A. for 13 years. This partnership came from Allpress’ need to find a stable supply of Colombian coffee, with a consistent flavour profile, that we can use in our blends throughout the seasons.
    Pescador is now our main Colombian coffee. We’ve released it as single origin in the past, roasted for filter, and now we’re making it an integral part of our new SO espresso range.
